Spider bite and staph infection Concerned

My sisters husband is recovering from a bite made by a spider that ended up with a staph infection . My sisters grandson who is 6 years of age has just come from the hospital with the same infection I thought this was a brown recluss bite but have since learned it was a small spider bite that alowed the infection to get in.
