the hobos ,
they say do not live in places below the northwest.
They are wrong on that!
WE have them here in kansas !
btw i have seen the recluse ones in a broad spectrun of color.
if they are on a lighter background they tend to look very pale.
if you catch them and put them in a jar, they will go to brown.
there are other varieties of recluse spiders ,
but the brown ones are capable of skin damage.
again it is about a 50/50 chance that any bite will be *dry venom *
or full venom injected.
also the pic they show (of the recluse)
it is standing up .
when they are *splayed out on a wall*
they look a bit *crabbish form
/flat and curving front legs forward kinda.
I did not look at their traps prices,
but I know here in kansas they are very cheap
for about 25 to a package, (at kmart or wallmart)
then you just fold them into triangular shape
as instructions say , and put against a wall .
be MOST careful when you go to check on traps
since it will often have
still living spiders stuck just inside the edges!!
hope all the info in my post below probably a hobo
and here as well help you .
EEK!!! just looked at that sites prices for traps!!
NO NO NO!!
I know you can get them far cheaper than that!!
seems we paid about 10 $ for a pack of 25 $
and they last (each trap)
for like 3 months I think
