Re: Testicle pain after hernia surgery

My husband three hernia operations in April. One around his navel, and two iguarnal (?). One of these was quite large, and caused a lot of pain from day one. It got a lot worse when he was violently sick after having a severe reaction to his painkillers. It has never really healed, and last week he felt 'something go', after twisting round in his chair. It looks like he has to have it done again, and is waiting for an appointment to have it scanned.

As you can imagine he is desperately fed up with the whole thing. The doctors and specialists all told him it was normal to feel pain, and were pushing him on to do exercises and 'work through it' which was why they prescribed the strong pain killers that made him so sick.

Hopefully by now you will be free from pain. If not, perhaps its time to get it looked at again. My husband is convinced his has got worse than it was before, and it continues to do so each day. Good luck.
