Although debates are excellent way of exchanging information and learn from it, when it drops to the level of defending egos and engaging in meaningless battle of words, then it often is stressful and an energy drain to the participants. No one ends up winning when it reaches that level. Perhaps it is best for the participants cool off, go outside and have a nice breath of fresh, drink their favorite comfy drink, and relax. Is this debate really so important to be involved in that it disrupts normal life?
I must look at my priorities again.
