Since stress is a major factor in good health, it is good to keep it as low as possible in our lives. Everyone has it 24 hours a day, but the degree of it varies. Stress can be very acidifying to your body, even moreso than foods, since emotions can dictate what your body will do no matter what you eat. There are many different things to relieve stress such as meditating and rebounding (exercise). Both can be very alkalizing to the body, especially meditating. Instead of getting worried about what to eat and what not to eat, it's best to keep your emotional well-being in good health instead of worrying too much about every detail of your food intake. This isn't to say to neglect your diet or stop improving your diet, but to help you take it from a different perspective.
