I have found an even more impressive acid/alkaline food chart with actual values for each food! There are various divisions such as 'least alkaline' or 'least acid' right up to 'most Alkaline or Acid' showing actual PH values for most meats, nuts and seeds, vegetables & fruits..
It was news to me that water melon is extremely alkaline standing just behind lemon as the most alkaline? Therefore it should be an excellent alkaliser right?
I decided to measure this testing the water melon with PH paper and found it was only moderately alkaline.. Maybe I will have to test a few more types of Water melon and see.
Any comments?
