I also read the fat flush book and did the plan briefly. at no time were vegetables forbidden. you had to only have a certain amount of veggies at each meal, but this was a reasonable amount. also, two fruits a day were encouraged/allowed.
this was a healthy plan.
and - grains like wheat have been proven over and over to be BAD for most people. the gluten in wheat breaks down into a sugar, which is bad for candida patients
