Re: Cornmeal for Candida?

Hi Elio! Did I ever respond to your e-mail or did it get lost in the shuffle???? So sorry if I forgot!!!

Corn Meal is not recommended because prior to candida your diet probably had lots and lots of corn, even hidden unseen corn as in high fructose corn syrup and other corn by-products that they use in cartons. That means that corn has become an allergan, and will weaken your immune system. Best to avoid it.

Check out the alternative grains like Quinoa, amaranth, teff, millet, brown rice flour/cereal. These are okay.

Have you taken the saliva test to be absolutely certain you have candida and not celiac disease?

Hope that helps! :)
