Triphala

Shelly,
Triphala and flaxseed is working SOOO well now. My BMs are large amounts first thing am. But they are very dark and gooey and heavy. I dont think compacted because they are wetish.
Is this from the triphala?
Also, I was going to get cholocal today, it is a bile salt. However, I might not need it. Does triphala cause the liver to give up bile?
