crazy question....why does my pubic bone hurt?

i have a crazy question- i am sexually active... and for some reason my pubic bone hurts when pressed esp on the left side of the bone. i have no idea why...i haven't had any trauma there other than missionary sex which isn't trauma. :)
but this has never happened...it is sore like a sharp pain when pressed. what could this mean? any thoughts? i know this is a crazy question but i thought someone might have some insight.
