Re: Caveman Diet?

A bucket is easier to keep clean than a bag, and allows you to put in much more water - 2 liters worth. The bucket setup usually comes with a much longer tube than bags too.

The meal sounds great, except you need to eat fruit alone as a snack or meal in and of itself for proper digestion. And you should only have 1 serving of fruit a day for the first month.

Be sure to have plenty of veggies, not just greens, with those salads! This is where you get variety. Each day have 3 veggies, then next day, have 2 different ones, cycling through your veggies. I tend to eat carrots just about every day, but the rest get cycled.

Definitely add beans and friendly grains, they will help your energy levels, B vit levels, iron and other essentials. Skip the meat protein when you do this.

And be sure to have some root veggies every now and again. For best balance, you need to offset the regular veggies and leaves wtih the root. Beets are fantastic and usually overlooked. Very cleansing to the liver.

Good luck! :)
