heh, we ALL do. :) In a free-market consumer society our spending dollars are not protected, so being a consumer advocate is one of the most ethical things you can do.

I always keep up my membership for the Consumer Reports page jsut to support them, even if I'm not shopping for a washer and dryer, because I love the work they do. :) Tweet
