Re: question about restoring tooth enamel

Dear fuzzythinkin,

you can buy some bamboo skewers and chew a piece of one with a fennel seed, coriander seed, or aniseed. This will stimulate your digestion and exercise your jaws. Don't swallow the fibre from the skewer unless you chew down finer than hair.

You don't need to chew really hard, just keep chewing lightly and try to breathe through your nose if you can while you chew (5 to 20 minutes is really good). Replace a few soggy foods with crunchy or raw ones in your diet, and remove a couple of corrosive items if you can.

In the long term, you need to change from an acidic lifestyle (food, behaviour, whatever) to a balanced one or else the tooth decay will always return. This takes time, like a few years, so first of all just identify your lifestyle and emotional style and go from there.

If you aim for health, you may find that the pace of life changes and that you'll be happy, and for some people it's a strange feeling so be prepared for that. Acidity and nervous tension go together, yet happiness and health are also partners.

Kind wishes,

Sebastian Reed
