Re: Does ParaGone actually help with bowel movements?!

You're supposed to drink plenty of water with the P&B otherwise as you found it will constipate not move the bowels. The stuff I take (Robert Gray) recommends 1 glass of Psyllium followed by 1 glass of water. To be on the safe side I would drink 1.5 glasses of water immediately after taking a fibre shake.

Also adding olive oil to a fibre shake will help it move along the GI tract nicely (as well as stoping the candida transforming into the fungal form).

Once you can handle 1 shake a day, move up to 2. And then 3 if you like. For best results I would say you should be taking at least 2 a day.

I would take flax too (if you like) as it contains Omega 3's and lignans and is one of the best foods you can take for the bowels. Either take it as a shake or sprinkle it on some other food.

I would only abandon psyllium if you find it too harsh - if it is doing too good a job of clearing the bowels and giving too much die-off/leaky-gut. Then you can use flax instead of psyllium, as flax is much more gentle (and also less effective at removal).
