seek to be a rubber ball...

see yourself as a rubber ball...
and dare to not feel the pain at all...
the harder you're thrown against the ground...
the higher is going to be your rebound...

the misery that life has thrown your way...
is temporary... fleeting... and will not stay...
there is beauty to be found in life...
as you deal with agony... pain... and strife...

to walk through your pains...
is to accomplish great gains...
you'll come out stronger on the other side...
and maybe you'll wonder how you ever survived...

for truly life is what YOU make it...
so... don't let it beat you into a pit...
sit still and focus on your breath...
for breathing to your thoughts brings death...

for it's not that life is beating you...
it's only your thoughts that are making you blue...
as your ego runs wild and has it's way...
it robs you of color and turns everything grey...

as you focus... on the tip of your nose...
as you breath in... watch how it grows...
as you breath out... watch it go down again...
as it returns to where it first began...

such is life... with ebb and flow...
but the mind will beat you... if you let it go...
be careful... that you keep your mind in check...
or it will make your life... a total wreck...

you are not your mind... you know...
there's a spirit inside you... that loves you so...
be still... sit silently... and try to hear...
seek to feel the love... and hold it near...

no longer seek to escape pain by death...
but simply listen to your breath...
find the most beautiful person... you NEVER have known...
the one that's inside you... an infant... not grown...

nurture your spiritual child... help it grow...
and in time you might help others to know...
to know that beauty and love exists...
once you find your inner bliss...
