I also would like to add: If you want to continue to have a relationship with him, please go to Naranon meetings. If there isn't one near you, then you can go to Alanon. We have been going to Naranon meetings to deal with our daughter's drug use and they have been a tremendous help. One thing you will learn there--is that you are powerless to change the addict. Only he can do that. You should concentrate on taking care of yourself. To find the nearest Naranon meetings or Alanon meetings, search on the web. I wish you luck. Above all, do not enable him in any way, shape or form. Try telling him that you love him but he needs to get help and has to work on this for the rest of his life.
