I am not sure what you mean ! You used methadone to withdrawel from heroine but went back to heroine before you went in to the weening stages of a methadone program! I understand that this program does not work if you expect not to go through complete with drawel! Or that you expect it to be pain free ! If the director of the program does not incorporate a completew start to finish program or you decide give up and go back to street drugs your not using the program right ! Like I said if you are not ready to quit it wont work neither will cold turkey! If the program is complete the final stages are tough but as tough as compared to withdrawel on your own from street drugs! The director of the program hes to be compassionate but not a cream puff! There are programs out there that have let people stay on the program indefinatly put those are special cases! you must be willing to go through the final part and expect to have some withdrawel symptons! Quiting addictive drugs is entirely up to the individual but you can go cold turkey or you can make it a little easier on a good program!
