any good doctors for scleroderma?

help please,a friend of mine was told by the mayo clinic he had scleroderma,he is 73 yrs old.he tells me he has no energy and every thing he eats or drinks is extremely bitter,i told him i think it might be lyme disease,since he lives in arkansas on a farm with lots of ticks.he was tested but negative, but a lot of tests are from what i hear,any suggestions?any other place he can go for help,he is desperate and will travel any where to get help,thanks.
