Re: TRUE! its all in your head

Exactly, leaving your lips alone for months is not a natural process. Avoiding water and all liquid on the lips is not natural, not licking your lips is not natural, not wearing lip balm when your lips are very dry is not natural, holding your mouth open or in weird positions is not natural, thinking about your lips all of the time is not natural. These and many more things that people are doing, including myself are not natural. Think about it, people with 'so-called' normal lips, DO NOT do these things. All of these things are being done by the 'mind'. Only the natural non-thinking 'automatic body' can know how to properly manage and heal the lips!

I know that people are doing these things to try and heal their lips but I believe the opposite effect is actually happening, these things are ‘creating’ and ‘perpetuating’ the problem. All of these things I have mentioned here have done absolutely nothing in the way of healing, so to continue to do them is just plain insanity. Skin does not take months to heal, especially on an area of the body that gets so much blood. Denial of natural bodily functions and processes may be the ONLY cause of this problem.

Forget the problem. Act as if you dont have it, because you really dont have it. Do everything normally just like any other person would do, and the peeling and your life will get alot better. Stop caring, dont think about it :)
