I would try applying the borage to the inner forearms or the abdomen/belly. By using the oil topically it goes straight into the blood and bypasses the liver. I advise trying it this way because some may have liver disturbances which may hinder the effectiveness of the oil. If you find you are not getting results with borage then I would try an EPA/DHA supplement, also applied topically. If this did not show results I would try a combination of both the GLA(borage) and EPA/DHA. If ultimately none of these work I would move on to liver cleansing, colon cleansing and juice fasting-something is blocking healing. Never give up! If you were born with normal healthy lips there is something gone wrong within your body that your body can and will heal given the right circumstances.
