It is incorrectly stated that the FDA will not approve DMSO. DMSO is approved by the FDA for the treatment of Interstitial Cystitis of the bladder. Therefore it is legal for a physician to prescribe and a pharmacy to dispense DMSO for any reason the physician deems appropriate. It does NOT have to be for the approved condition, it can be for ANY condition. This has been upheld by the courts.
