Getting rid of one

I have a wart on the inside of the second knucle of my left fore finger. I had it burned off several years ago and it came back. I am not going to do that again. I read that duct tape if left over the wart will remove it, but that is not very practical. It doesn't stay there, I tried it. Any other suggestions? I use a finger nail file to keep it at bay, but it still gets knocked around and injured and I just hate the D#$()#&) thing!
