Re: owen
Dear gooner,
I'm afraid I'm not going to be much help. I've
never used magnesium ascorbate, and neither
Tom Levy nor Linus Pauling, my vitamin C
gurus, mention it in their books.
There are two forms of vitamin C that have
brilliant track records: vitamin C as ascorbic
acid, and vitamin C as sodium ascorbate.
I take 10 grams of sodium ascorbate every day,
and 4 grams of ascorbic acid: a total of 14 grams (14,000 mg). Both are in
crystal form. I add the crystals to juice.
Dr. Levy strongly suggests that people do NOT
use calcium ascorbate. My intuition tells me
to stick with the two kinds of vitamin C
that have worked so well for me and others.
I hope someone else can help educate us both
about magnesium ascorbate.
Blessings,
Owen
