when i take vit c i have pain in my neck and in my throat

i do not feel good after taking vit c

i used to take it in powder form but now i take it in tablets 1000 mg each

so why do i get the pain in my neck and also the pain in my throat that extends to the chest

i must say i have bad breath all the time
