Vertigo

Every four to five months I experience vertigo. Went to ENT and had ALL the tests followed up with an MRI. Other than a loss of hearing in that ear, absolutely nothing found: no wax, no blockage. Yet, vertigo comes periodically. Other than vertigo, NO symptoms, except one. When our children were little they brought home pin worms with regularity. We came to be experts at recognizing symptoms; kids complained of itchyness and we all came to recognize that squiggly feeling in our bottoms. I know this sounds crazy; but, try to imagine that same squiggly sensation in ear. Not the moist cold feeling of liquid in the ear-movement. Does anyone have any ideas? Frustrating to say the least.
