I have Genital Herpes, can my bf still go down on me?

I have genital herpes.. i wanna know if it is safe at any time for my boyfrined to go down on me ? is there a way to know when the virus is active or dormant.. I am on Valtrex.. I have been on it for a month.. taking 500mg every day. B4 that I woudl have an outbreak once a month the week b4 my period.. so do you think it would be safe for him to go down on me after my period? he has only gone down on me once.. but used saran wrap over me.. lol Tweet
