Provided the virus remains permanently dormant, I think this is as good as a cure.

I have read alot about this virus, but I still don't really understand it. For example, this winter I have suffered daily outbreaks of a minor nature, that heal again within hours.I have never had blisters.My outbreaks became frequent I think due to the cold weather and the fact that I drive a motorbike which makes me even colder, and my outbreaks worse.However, I dabbed some dmso on the infected area for 3 days in a row and now the outbreaks have stopped completely.Sometimes I forget I have herpes because I have gone 18 months with no signs or symptoms.

The pebble example that you use Brian makes sense, but if you take valtrex in large quantities for a lenghty period, this means that as soon as the virus attempts to become active, it will be shut down by the valtrex.It's almost like trying to catch a theif. You have to wait for it to appear and then hit it over the head with valtrex.I hope this makes sense. I have also noted some common suggestions from health practitioners. For example ozone therapy only works well if you take alot of it, for a lenghthy period.Again perhaps this is because you have to wait for the virus to activate itself many times before the ozone really knocks the virus out.The ozone and/or valtrex may also assist your immune system in killing the virus.Konrad Heinz (a ozone practitioner) believes that the virus can be eliminated from your body and he has been treating herpes since the 1970s.

It has also been suggested that some people do not get any more outbreaks after taking valtrex for a lenghthy period.Perhaps the virus becomes weak after being suppressed for so long?

Bay57-1293 has been shown to prevent recurrences in animals.

My attitude towards any problem is to be positive.I hope to try the bay57 drug at some stage and may even take valtrex to see how I react to it.If the drug keeps the virus permanently repressed my life will be almost normal again.Also over time the virus often becomes less aggressive and often disappears.

At the moment I am working quite hard during the day time which stops me from thinking about herpes which is very important.Spending too much time thinking about this virus is bad for you.
