Swollen Lymph nodes in your neck do not necessarily indicate that you have oral herpes. The only way to confirm if you have oral herpes is if you get an oral cold sore and then to go and get it swabbed and tested.

Your genital herpes may be either HSV 1 or 2, they will tell you when you get your results. Oral herpes can also be either HSV 1 pr 2, although the most common form of oral herpes in HSV 1.
