genital herpes

Hi, I've had a cold sore and i've given it to my gf down there... I feel guilty and bad and i cant do anything about it. =( sometimes i wanna die for doing that. I really love my gf and i was wondering if anything can happen to me if i go down on her now that she has genital herpes ? can anything happen to me if iv already got cold sores which come from time to time, can my mouth get worst then getting a cold sore or would it not do anything because i already get cold sores?
