odd bump on uvula-herpes?
Several months back I had a sore throat, so got out a mirror and checked it out with a flashlight. My throat was fine, but I did notice a small bump on the side of my uvula.
I thought it was odd, but didn't give it a second thought. A week or so ago I looked at it again. The bump has grown to the size of a pencil eraser, it is white and not painful.
I have had only one sexual partner in my life, who assured me he had never had sex before. No oral sex as involved in this relationship, so I assumed that the bump on my uvula could not be herpes even if he had been lying to me about his virginity. However, I do remember him having an odd collection of blister-like bumps on his hand, which he told me was an allergy, he still has them even though it's over a year later. Upon more research I found out that herpes can be on various areas of the body. Naturally, I got scared. I remember kissing his hands, although obviously not directly on the blisters. Does the bump on my uvula sound like herpes?
