so-called cure

I'm new to the forum, and have been conducting a google search on that Asian genital herpes cure. I heard about it from an acupuncturist who wanted me to do a six month program to get it ($3,000, and crazy) and on an infomercial, so I already have some doubts, but has anyone tried such a cure or heard of it, assuming you'd still be on this forum if you did?
