I think that is a terrible idea. DMSO alone is a dangerous way to attempt oxygenation of cells, and a medicine being effective after you take it internally does not mean it will have any effect whatsoever when applied topically. It's apples and oranges regarding biochemistry.

The way to suppress outbreaks is to oxygenate/alkalinze your body with diet, exercise, and removing acidic elements from your existence like coffee, soda, alcohol, shallow breathing, etc.

These principles combined with L-Lysine supplements will do much more for you than that wood pulp DMSO crap and pharmaceuticals.

Most of the people pimping DMSO are selling it, and do not actually have herpes and use it. Also, DMSO is mostly a reactive mentality, applying something AFTER you have an outbreak. The key toward battling this nuisance is getting healthy which prevents the outbreak from occurring in the first place.
