Ear whistling after too many nights out.

Hi it's a cold, windy winter here in Australia and I have a sore throat, blocked ears as well as whistling in the ears. I was watching Euro 2004 football in a public auditorium this past month (lots of screaming and whistling) and that's when my ears started to whistle as well as my cold get worse. The doctor just cleaned my ears put of wax and told me to ride this cold and ear-whistling out.

What can I do to help myself get better?
