Strange sensation on left side of brain...

Hi. I don't have a brain injury, nor have I had a stroke or aneurysm, but I am experiencing a strange sensation on the left side of my brain. I am hoping someone here might know if it is a warning sign that something is wrong, or some other possibility of why I can feel my brain. It is mostly when I wake up in the mornings, it feels almost like I can feel my brain waking up. It doesn't hurt, it is just a sensation that I can't explain that just makes me very aware of my brain.

I have experienced headaches most of my life, starting around age 8. I am almost 30 now. But this new sensation I am talking about doesn't hurt like a headache, it isn't even uncomfortable on a physical level. Just on a mental level, I always feel mentally drained. I have trouble concentrating during reading, or praying, but not when doing thing like paying my bills.

Could this brain sensation be a warning sign of something or is it normal to feel this upon waking and I just never noticed it until recently?
