Severe pain in heels - Help!

I was diagnosed with heel spurs in both heels almost 4 years ago. I have done everything... customized shoe inserts, special tennis shoes, clogs, cortizone shots, Alleve, Celebrex, accupuncture, chinese medicine, reflexology, massage, cam walker (a brace like a cast), night splints, physical therapy, ice, cod liver oil... other than massage & icing, nothing works.

They gave me lab tests & x-rays which didn't show anything but the spur. I finally quit getting the shots - (they cause other problems) & started drinking lots of water, taking my vitamins, streatching & working out, but it seems like it's getting worse! I even quit my job so that I would stay off my feet. Lately, I have been getting even more pain in other parts of the heel & because of the way I've been limping around, my ankles are beginning to hurt. I am at my wits end! I reciently found out that I have a wheat allergy, which may play a part in all of this, but I don't know anyone who has experienced this magnitude of pain, (nor do my doctors). So, other than surgery, I don't know where else to turn. Any advise??? Please
