large osteophytes on cervical spine

I have just been diagnosed with having 3 osteophytes, 2 large ones which are coonecting with my spinal cord.
For the last year I have had a range of symptoms which are progressivly getting worse, such as tinnitus and not being able to look up or down without feeling like passing out,and more recently Chronic Fatigue Syndrome like symptoms...Im scared, I dont see the neurosurgeon till May 7.... do you think the Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome symptoms could be related?
