Re: multiple hepatitis b vaccine adverse reactions
I too was told I had to have the hepatitis B vaccine as we were wrote up by the
State of Nebraska and I was a new employee who had not done this even though I was the finance manager it was required.
From with in 5 minutes of the shot, I had a reaction of just not feeling well, numbness and feeling like my world was closing in on me.
I seemed to get over it and then it has returned with avengence. I knew someting was wrong as I had numbness and tingling in feet and hands as well as now moving to
face and chest. I have had a reletively high white blood count and high sed rate and have a fever of some sort. Along with all this I have had 2 sinus infections and bronchitis. I was on 1000 mg of biaxin twice which has now killed the bacteria in my stomach and I have been running to the bathroom for over a month.
I have had numerous trips to the ER, was hospitalized for 4 days with severe dehydration and muscle aches and fatigue.
I finially was sent to a neurologist against my doctors wishes but begged. This has finially led to finding out that I am now reactive with epstein Barr virus and have acquired symptoms of ms or guillian barres syndrom.
I am now waiting for the chance for an appointment to see the infectious disease doctors at the University in our State.
Can anyone give me any further advise or things I need to do and be aware of from
here.
