Diagnosed w/chronic Hepatitis B at 16 weeks pregnant..

It was only a few years ago that I came upon the "natural" side. I married a wellness chiropractor and that was the best thing that I could ever do for my health. Since being under his care, my immune system has been stronger and healthier-- I haven't had to battle as many symptoms or allergies!

But now, I am pregnant and have just found out that I am a chronic carrier of the Hepatits B virus (after years of not knowing). The doctors are doing a great job of informing me of how deadly it would be if I did not give my soon to be born child the Hep B vaccine. I refuse to take drugs of any kind and absolutely will not vaccinate my child. I've read so much about the adverse reactions. I am confident that my child's immune system will be healthy enough to battle most that the vaccines are supposed to "guard" against.

Yet now I am so unsure. How can I live with myself if I pass the virus onto my child? It's already hard enough that I might have passed it onto my husband. I just can't imagine how they would feel knowing that they had to have certain restrictions due to having this in their system. On the other hand, I just am not sure about the vaccine. It's a gamble both ways but I need to learn more.

Any advice or articles that you can direct me to? I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you so much for your help.
