Hepatitis B vacination, UK suffers
I posted a message on this site about 11 months ago having read some of the suffering that people have gone through after having had the vaccine. I was looking for answers because, I too, am a sufferer, although I do seem to be one of the lucky ones in as much as the initial problems were all but gone after about six months....but I have since suffered with what I call "Knock-on" problems relating to the many months of inactivity and/or drugs taken during that time.
It was a year ago that I had the
vaccination and because of the length of time I have been off work, I no longer have a job. I have approached a number of solicitors about trying to claim compensation but, in their words, the case is not "Viable"
I can only think of writing to various people in the Department of Health, for what good that will do! Perhaps if I was not alone....?
Are you aware that you could possibly claim on Industrial Injuries (from the DWP)? Provided of course that the onset of the symptoms is close enough to the
vaccination date to exclude all doubt. The amount varies in relation to the extent of the disability and is paid as an allowance in conjunction with the incapacity benefit.
Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, but it is also for the sufferers who are bound to follow! Just hope the find this site!
Please e-mail me if you have any comments.
