Re: Government is Supposed to Protect You

There are honest individuals in the government, but they seem to be few. Compromise is the key to politics. When principle is sacrificed in this manner we all suffer.

Today we see both Democrats and Republicans allowing violation of anti-trust laws. This same desire to please those with money and influence is at work in the meat industry and has been for many years.

Dear Fountain, you are correct in your desire to quit drinking milk. Do a little study and you will be able to put 2 and 2 together again. The same animals that produce diseased meat produce diseased milk. In the United States we have a problem with Leukemia virus in the milk.

Many will plead that their children and themselves need milk, but it is not true. It is a lie that has been perpetrated by the milk industry even before milk became unfit as a food. I feel sorry for those who are innocent in the industry, but it is time to find another kind of work. Animals are getting sicker and now the writing is on the wall. Sell your cows while you can.
