Re: Is there such a thing as "natural makeup"?
Hi, I've often looked at the Bare Minerals because it seemed better than slathering makeup on my face.
I wish I could go bare, but I'm 50, and there are things I just need to cover up. I agree I don't like that feel on my face, so I wish there was an alternative. This is not completely answering your questions about that product, but I'm giving you a link to a few places that you can get info on natural face products.
I have ordered some stuff from Dr. Hauschka, but I don't really like the colors. So I tend to use his stuff under my normal makeup so that at least his products are the ones actually touching my skin. Don't know if that actually makes any sense, but it makes me feel a bit better.....

Also, you should check out this blog. Wrenn is very good.

I also use products from Skin Actives, which is mostly skin care, not makeup per se.

It's a dilemma for those of us that feel that you shouldn't put anything on your face you wouldn't eat. I'm afraid that people would think I was ill if I didn't wear some makeup. I do look a heck of a lot better since I've been cleansing, but not enough to go to work bare.
Let me know if you find out anything. I've opened my email.
Peace, Molly
