Re: Homemade Shampoo

This is what my mother and I use. Get some borax from the grocery store and some powdered citric acid . When your in the shower put a little borax in a cup(1 to 2 tsp.)and fill it with water until it dissolves. Massage this into you hair for a minute or so. Do this about 2 or 3 times. Next, take a tsp. of citric acid in a cup of water a pour it over your hair and let it sit for a minute. When you first start doing this your hair may feel a little dirty and difficult to manage but this is from product buildup thats coming out. Eventually it will work and your hair will feel soft and clean but it will take a few months. It cleared up my moms dandruff too!! If she even washes her hair with an organic shampoo once she'll break out in itches and it will take a week to clear it up. You can also use the borax for all your laundry and cleaning needs and its perfectly safe and very cheap. I got this from Hulda Clark s The Cure For All Diseases . We also use it with our dishes and in our dishwasher. Works like a charm! Hope you like it.
