Expensive Face Creams
My mum has a friend called Madge, who's always buying those
expensive face creams from Clarins,etc.
They were out to lunch the other day and my mum was telling me
that Madge's face looked like paper!!!
As coincidence would have it, I was listening to a programme on
BBC radio the next day, and they were doing a programme on expensive
face creams.
Apparently they all contain alpha hydroxy acids which are exfoliators. It sounds to me that they seem to peel the top layer
of the skin and seem to be quite severe. On the programme, they
invited anybody from about 5 of these cosmetic companies to reply
to criticisms that people had about their products and nobody was
willing to go on the programme.
My mum has very good skin and Madge asked her what she used...my
mum told her that she drank planty of water just, apart from some
standard moisturizers.
Madge then said that she must have good genes...she just didn't
get it at all.
The power of marketing, eh?
