Great Info
Hello!
I received this e-mail from Owen and think it's worth everyone reading.....
I almost never urge my friends to hurry down to the drug store, and buy
anything. But today is
an exception. I strongly recommend that all of
my friends go to their local pharmacy, and buy
some N95 surgical masks. My local Walgreens
sells two (2) N95 masks for $5.00. If you and
yours need more masks (I'll give you my reasons in a moment), you can
buy them online
at:
http://www.prepare-now.com A box of twenty (20) N95 surgical masks costs
$24.95. Their order line is 1-800-330-4234. If you
choose the drug store, MAKE SURE you get
the N95 masks! There are cheaper masks on
display that will NOT protect you like the N95
will.
Protect you from what? The flu -- only this time,
we're NOT talking about the standard-brand flu
that most people catch at least once a year.
The flu that has me worried is virtually identical
to the Spanish Flu that killed 30 to 50 MILLION
people between 1918 and 1920.
Doctors Jon Barron and David Williams are two
of the top alternative health practicioners in the
USA. I trust both men implicitly. Both Jon and
David said in their August newsletters that
a pandemic of bird-flu could ravage our world
at any time. It's not a question of "if," but of
"when." If that's true, then the pandemic will
probably infect 2 BILLION people, and kill
350 to 500 MILLION people. That would put
it on the same scale as the 1918 pandemic.
Neither man is an alarmist nor a rumor-monger,
who's trying to sell products by scaring people.
Doctor Williams' print newsletter goes to 300,000 people. Dr. Barron's
e-letter goes to
countless people. Both men are much-listened
to, and very highly respected. You can read
Jon's e-letter about bird flu by going to:
http://www.jonbarron.org/archives.html
Cick on the recent newsletter, "Echinacea &
Bird Flu."
And while I'm giving addresses, here's a site
that has a lot of easy-to-read information about
various aspects of bird-flu:
http://www.birdflu.org.cn
Here's the scenario in a nutshell: A deadly
variety of bird-flu known as H5N1 has broken
out in a half-dozen Asian countries. In recent
days, it has spread to Russia. Migrating birds
will bring it into Eastern Europe.
So far, medical authorities think that all the
humans who have died fom contracting H591
caught it from infected poultry. Tens of millions
of game-birds have been destroyed in recent
years in an attempt to eradicate this deadly flu.
At some point, a human being who has the
standard Type A flu, is going to be infected
by a diseased bird. The bird-flu will mutate
within this person or persons, so that it,
the H591 virus, can now be passed from person-to-person, like regular
flu.
There was no air travel in 1918. The world
wasn't a global community the way it is in
2005. Once this deadly flu begins spreading,
it can be all over the world in a few days.
At that point, you won't be able to go to your
Walgreens and buy a flu mask. The masks
will be long gone.
If we're hit with a flu pandemic on the scale
of the Spanish Flu in 1918, it will bring the
world we know to a grinding halt. Businesses
will close, schools will close, hospitals will be
overwhelmed. Try to imagine a world in which
1 out of every three people alive, are infected,
and 1 out of 18 die of the infection. Not a
pretty picture at all.
If you have an N95 mask or masks, you'll have
a much better shot than most people of not
being infected. Both doctors also recommend
a list of supplements to strengthen your immune system. Among them are
large doses
of vitamin C, aloe vera, echinacea, and Pau
D'arco. You definitely need a strong immune
system. But you also need to prevent your
lungs from inhaling that toxic virus. That's
where the N95 masks come in. I bought 20
of them....just in case.
I don't mean to scare you, my friends! This
nasty scenario may not happen. Nothing is
written in stone. But it seems to me that a
small investment in such masks -- less than
what dinner costs in a good restaurant --
would be a wise precaution. Trust your
intuition, as always. And keep your ears open
for news of the bird-flu.
God willing, this horror will spare our world.
Blessings,
Owen
