WOW!!!!! This is fantastic. You are a very disciplined
person. I love reading your posts. You are just full of
good knowledge. :-) Is there an old post on here anywhere,
where you've told a little bit about yourself, how you got
into this kind of lifestyle, the books you've studied, etc?
Just curious.
My husband just retired this past December, and I had so
much wanted us to "slow down". We have 5 acres in the country,
keep it all very well manicured. Have a 2 acre "secret garden"
with paths, and little surprises hidden here and there (benches,
swings, garden signs and other old fashioned ornamental things
to make it interesting) We also have a big cottage garden,
an herb garden, and vegetable garden. I wanted us to retire,
and "Play like it was 1950" :-) But we just have so
much to do...to keep up all the gardens, and I do a tremendous
amount of church work and other volunteer things.
I've been wanting to get into meditation or yoga, but I'm
always so rushed! :-) We live in Southern Ill..Very southern
tip, 8 miles from the Kentucky line.
Well, I just wanted you to know I really enjoy reading your
posts. You really seem like a wonderful person. And I'd
