I was kind of curious about the wall thing itself so I looked it up and found these links
I read them all and am still confused.
My (probably poor) understanding is that there has been a wall for a while and that the Israeli wall has inspired the building of a bigger wall.
Sounds like a big setback for world peace to me and a dream come true for the warmongering types
Hope I am understanding this all wrong
