I know that you are a health nut, probably more than I am from the
sounds of things. I read teh articles you sent about Splenda. Now,
that caught my attention, because I had thought that fianlly we were
on to something I could endorse. Listen to this...

My Jack Russell Terrior, a 6 year old healthy female is always ready
to swoop up a fallen crumb. One night while getting the milk out of
the refer, Charlie (my 10 yr old) knocked the coffee creamer of
choice out onto the floor, and it spilled open. The low carb kind
which is new on the market contains Splenda, so Wishbone was there to
lick up 3-4 tongue fulls before I could stop her.


Within 3 minutes she went into a convulsion type of siezure and
completely waas overtaken for the first time ever! I was very
worried about her, but held her and watch her wretch this thing out
until it was over. It lasted about 12 minutes or so. There have
been no more episodes thankfully, but I'm off teh Splenda.
