I feel sorrry for you. Is your love of God based on your fear of Hell? Probably. And that is why I feel sorry for you. You see, fear is only needed for criminals and for those who do wrong. It was never meant to be built up into a spiritual tolitarian system of fear and terror. But the Church, in it's blindness knew that without spiritually terrorizing people, many would not convert or join their faith. Thus, what was meant for the few who made a counscious decision to side with evil, was made into a form of mental bondage and a form of spiritual terorrism.
The people who told that garbage to you are a terrorist as surely as Ben Lauden or Al Queda. The sad thing is you have gone for it hook and sinker. But then, The Evil One wears many masks, and it isa easy for someone to be tricked by a wolf in sheeps clothing.
Please listen and understand: God is not some taskmaster that will smash you in the head with a baseball bat every time you do something wrong. God is not a terrorist, God is not a tyrant, God's true nature is revealed in one word "Father" or, Abba which the closest analogy in English would be "Daddy"
Now can you imagine your earthly parents sadistically torturing you for eternity? if so, then I would guess you have some abuse issues to deal with it. Because the fact is, we ARE the children of God, as much in a lesser way as Jesus. No father, except an insane or cruel one, resorts to torture to show them they were wrong. That's like me teaching you not to play with fire by sticking your hand in a bonfire untill your hand burns off your arm. Who is worse, morally speaking in this example? It would be me, correct? In the same way, God does not teach righteousness by being unrighteous himself. He dosen't kill to teach you not to murder. Two wrongs DO NOT make a right. God is Love, and Love never fails.
How could the Supreme Being fail, They are omnipotent, no? They CANNOT fail. Their purpose will be fullfilled as They see fit. In the end, evil will be destroyed by being cleansed or purged. Do you throw out an expensoive peice of clothes if it is stained? No, of course not. You attempt to save it, right? Are you telling me that God, the omnipotent, Omniscient, Omniprescent Supreme Being cannot do something? If you are, then I question your mental health. God is and can do whatever They want; They could kill you and me RIGHT NOW, or if They wanted have an asteroid hit our planet and destroy us all. The point is that Their nature is Righteous and Loving; they are higher and INFINITELY better than man. We being mortals do not understand even for a milisecond what Thy are, Their thoughts or intentions. This I do know: They who are good enough to sacrafice their son will not let that sacrafice be made null and void. They will succeed, and in the end of time we will ALL be together: One Parent/s, One Family with Hindus, Taoists, Jewish and Muslim. Or diod you not understand why God will leave the 99 sheep behind to go looking for the one lost one? Tweet
