Sure, if you ignore the murder, genocide, bashing og babies heads in, killing the firstborn of Egypt, brutality and cruelty. If you can ignore that, then sure Jehovah is a good dude.
I suppose you could find some things good to say about Adolf Hitler, Stalin or Saddam Hussein. Yet, that does not excuse or make up for their brutality and crimes. In the same sense, allthough their may be positive thinbgs to be said for Yahweh, the fact he committed genocide, blessed people who bashed Babyloniasn babies heads in and commanded genocide of the invading Israelite nation against the indigenous nations of Caanan does not, in any way, excuse or make up for his brutality.
Jesus said you could tell a tree by it's fruits. In the case of Yahweh, many of his fruits is death, slaughter, murder and genocide. Any intellectually honest and moral person should reject and want NOTHING TO DO with any human or supernatural being that indulges in murder and genocide. I hate and despise Hitler, Stalin and saddam Hussein and I place Yahweh in the same category. Tweet
