Re: can someone help me id what this bite is? *pic inside*

thanks for the great info everyone! i seem to have a little symptoms from some of the spider bites. i was worried that it was from the brown recluse, but my ankle hasnt swollen up, and i havent had a huge fever. the bite sometimes looks like a hobo spider bite, but smaller, but at the same time it also looks like the white tailed spider. but i did a little research and the hobo spider is native to australia.

maybe if i give a little more info it will help a bit more. im from san francisco, but i am in east bay alot, mostly concord and hayward. i think i may have gotten the bite from concord, because i was walking around in the dirt alot taking pictures. i have had this sort of bite before, and it took forever to heal, over 3months. this seems to be the same way. it has been a month already, and it hasnt changed. it seems to never scab over. the only time it hurts is when i may have scratched it and but some benadryl on it, and it stings. i dont think the bite itself is itchy (i havent scratched the bite), but the area around it itches like no other. could it be just a regular mysquito bite but got infected? would that look like what i have? or is there no such thing?

thanks again everyone, and i look forward to your replies.
